Hi Gurus, what if i have purchased a private apartment which is supposed to be vacant and turns out that the tenant is refusing to move out due to discrepency with the previous owner. The tenant do have a right not to move out as his tenancy agreement is still valid. However i did sign on the OTP stating the unit is purchased on a vacant possession. Kindly need advice on what action should i take. Thank you.

Hi Mr Zeng, have you taken possession of the ppty? i think you need to go back to the sellers to ensure that they are the ones to move out the tenant. They shud deliver to u a vacant unit as promised in the OTP. Call me if u need to discuss. 98422233

I have not taken possession of the unit. Seems that the tenant is not moving out and the agent is begging me to buy with tenancy. Problem is that the rate for the tenancy is too low for the current market.
