You may wish to check with the bank instead of HDB to see if they are able to recognise your income to grant you a home loan. As for grant, you will still need to key in the necessary monthly income for HFE and base on that, should they request for income proof, then you produce your income proof for the eligibility assessment, given that all buyers will still need to apply for HFE, regardless of where their source of income is.
