Hi i am owner of a HDB 5-room (1st timer with hdb loan) and intend to buy new EC. Does it mean I can only loan 60% with current flat? eg.i must sell my flat before i can get 80% loan? Hw does payment schedule work nw & hw much units are reserved for 2nd timer? Thank you!

Hi Coco;

Yes,if you have outstanding home loan,your next loan can be of max 60% only..The only way to get max 80% loan is to sell off your current place,or to fully pay up your current place..Alternatively,for brand new EC,you have an option of Deferred Payment Scheme,which allows more flexiblity in payment mode.I have currently on hand a few EC just launched and few more launching soon in various location ,all direct from developer's sales...Please contact me so i can explain more in depth..Thanks..

Good news for you!
You are still able to obtain max 80% loan if you take up deferred payment scheme when you purchase a new EC.
