Hi, I am 34 single this year turning 35 next may. I am trying to do research so that i can immediately buy my own home and move out of my parent's 5rm HDB.
I am currently earning 7.2k monthly (excluding annual variable bonus), with about 65K cash, 200k CPF (150K OA/50K SA)..and also have other investments like shares/bonds totaling 80K. Have almost zero debts and loans as i do not own a car.
I know i am not eligible for most (if not all) grants so i have not put it in my consideration in terms of budget planning.
MY intention is to get a home of my own next year, taking the shortest loan tenure possible (10years?). What are my eligibility in terms of the current market for resale 3/4rm HDB or exec condo? What about smaller private condo?
The reason for the short loan requirement is because i do not want to be tied down with a loan for 20-25+ years as i am thinking of retirement by age 55 and leaving singapore then.
