Hi, I signed and exercise the otp with a seller, but HDB says that the seller has not met MOP until April.
I know that according to OTP, we can pursuit any claims from the seller. But then, we need a lawyer, which costs time and money. We are in the process of negotiating with the seller's agent. Our preferred solution is to sign an agreement for delaying the new OTP and offset the price to compensate our additional monthly rental. I don't know whether there is any cost for delaying the bank loan, if so, then we demand compensation as well. However, we have never met the seller, and his agent always claims that the seller is so so busy and all those nonsense, while it is clearly the seller agent's fault for not verifying with the seller in advance. What shall I do?
