Hi Alvin,
Theoretically speaking, you cannot formally register with any Real Estate Agents until you pass your exams and get your RES certificate. As during the CEA registration process, they will need your certificate. So taking the exams should be the first step you take.
The next question will be, which training agency to take the RES course as there are so many around. For that, I will encourage you to start talking to some real estate salesperson to see which agency you want to join. As some training agencies may be affiliated to some real estate firms so you may be able to get some discounts in the process.
If you are fine, then maybe we can meet up for a chat and I can share more with you on the industry. I can also share more about ERA and also our group Property Navigators. As your mentor, how I can guide you will be an important factor to consider as well.
Looking forward to hear from you soon!
Best Regards,
Jeffrey Heng
