There are a few options for you. But all would require you to form a family nucleus. One option would be to find yourself a spouse and get married. The other option would be to purchase it together with your parents.

Hi Sir,

Unfortunately, you will need to be married to be eligible for a HDB if you are below the age of 35 years old. Alternatively, you may wish to purchase with your parents if they are eligible.

If you are financially stable, you may wish to purchase a private condo first, enjoy the capital appreciation since you have 8 more years before you hit 35 years old and subsequently cash out and purchase the HDB with the profit made.

Hi,

Unfortunately hdb can only apply if you are 35 years old and want to purchase under your own name.
Buying a condo is one viable option and with the capital appreciation over the 8 years, it may seem to be a good option. However, we will need to take note of the 30 months waiting time if you want to apply for bto. Only resale flat without grants and taking bank loan need not wait for 30 months.

Single can only buy 2 room BTO and you will have to look in the resale market to get a bigger house and good location.

With the price in resale flat not in the lower price bracket, i will suggest we stick with purchase of condo.
