Hi JM Tham,

First to one must qualify for the HDB loan.
For Single, gross income mustnot exceed $3k/mth.
Couple, G.Income not more than $8k/mth.
Have not taken more 2 times HDB subsidarise loan.
U can apply HDB loan thru www.hdb.gov.sg for your HLE (housing loan elibility).

Alternately, you may want to consider bank loan if you cannot qualify the HLE.
currently, bank interest rate is much cheaper.
However, U need to pay 1st 5% & COV by cash.
balance can use your CPF.
In addition, U need to engage a pte lawyer to act for your purchase or sale. ( bank normally give a leagal subsidise of 0.4% on the loan amount.
There are many good bank loan with low interest in the current market.
