How can one gauge the genuineness of an agent? Is the absence of a license number a bad sign?

Hi Perplexed rental,

I guess you probably had a bad experience with an agent you have encountered. I believe that the best way to gauge the genuineness of an agent will be through your gut feeling.

Repeated occurrences of certain habits and traits will tell you if the salesperson is interested in going that extra mile to build up long term relationship or just interested in making a one off transaction.
