Do you currently own a property? Does your spouse own any property? By buying under her name only, there is no protection per se for you but you would need to keep all payment receipts and records and in the event something happens, you need all those documents and a will from her to cover your interests.

What do you mean by protect your interest? Will you be contributing financially for this investment? Owners are not allowed to put up their properties for rent or sale on PropertyGuru.
