i am a Singapore Citizen but currently working oversea. I am interested in buying a private property in Singapore. Can I apply for a Power of Attorney to authorize a third party to transact the purchase on my behalf? Or is there another way to do so

Afternoon James,

Will you be coming back to Singapore to have the Power of Attorney done or will you be doing it through the Notary Public?

There are a few ways about it, depending on your convenience and cost that you are looking at: Flying into Singapore to get the Power of Attorney done or Getting your Power of Attorney to prepare the documents here, have to courier to you and you signing it in-front of the Notary Public.

The next thing is to understand your requirement, budget and constrain.

Do feel free to contact me if you require further assistance.
