i am living in a pagadi system building for the last 60 years and now the landlord wants to redevelop the same. so i would like to know what rights does the tenant have, can he ask for extra space free of cost from the developer, what rent should be given to us for the alternate accomodation till we get the possession of the new building.

Very interesting system..is there a pagdi system in Singapore? i am not sure.
anyway,i think it is not a legal transaction.
