I got my hle loan approved 3 yrs ago. Now that my key collection is drawing near, I want to change to a bank loan isntead. I undrestand for bank loan we have to engage bank lawyer to pay the conveyance and stamp duty fee. However I have already paid those fees during my first appointment while still under HLE. Can i get a waiver from the bank for engaging their lawyer?

Hi,

Waiver is not possible as it is considered as a new process since different lawyer will be engaged for the bank loan.

In addition, the legal fees associated with bank loan are higher than HDB concessionary loan's.

Hope it clarify.
