I had invested/purchased a freehold private property a year ago (TOP Sept/2008)..Probably present valuation is about 730k
Was it good time to sell it back now...or should I wait.
If i want to sell it now, pls advise the procedure, which step should I start and how much shuld I pay for brokering, tax, etc... fees ?

Hi Mr Win, First of all the present valuation given by bankers would be quite conservative if i were to add as banks now have stringent their loans amount. If you bought your property for capital gains in short terms and you have made a good profit out of it ,Then set a comfortable price and sell. But if you were thinking of capital appreciation then i would not advise. Selling fees includes lawyers fees which is about 2 to 3k depending on lawyers and brokerage at 2% comm for the agent selling your property. Hope you enjoy buying property in Singapore!

I believe that when you invested in this property, you expect the price to go up. Are you happy with the current price if you are going to sell it now?

Alternatively, you may also consider to rent out your apartment if you feel that the price will goes up futhur..
