I'm quite sure this is not the first time you are asking such question. You can choose to start small by looking at HDB rental or resales. When things get better, then venture into private residential.
The main issue is your mentor, working attitude, capital and objective. Starting up is always difficult but one need to start somewhere. Since you have start and you are green, having a good mentor who will guide you along, instead of letting you drown, will make things easier.

Individual agencies have their specific strengths as well as divisions within the individual agencies. You see success stories, very motivating.

Project marketing is something you can start to build yourself, perhaps you can see for yourself the number of new launches certain agencies are handling.

Nevertheless, at ECG Property, we have various systems in place to guide new agents along. You may choose to focus in landed properties or condo, maybe HDB or overseas property and new launches. We have seniors guiding you along, irrespective of who is your reporting managers. Start somewhere, be focus, but do not put all eggs into a basket.
