i hv my own agent (X) to do all the guiding and paperwork. if i were to purchase a flat from another agent (Y), how do i pay the commision? must i pay both agent X and Y? Agent Y collects his commision from the buyer or from the seller?

HI SHA,..ITS AS SIMPLE AS,WHICHEVER AGENT SERVE THE BUYER OR SELLER,THAT AGENT HAVE TO COLLECT THE COMMISION FROM WHOEVER THAT HE SERVE...IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN AGENT(X),THEN YOU CAN ONLY BUY THROUGH YOUR AGENT(X).BUT IF PURCHASE THROUGH ANOTHER AGENT(Y),THAN THE OTHER AGENT(Y) WILL TAKE THE COMMISSION FROM YOU AND DO ALL THE PAPER WORK...AND IF YOU PURCHASE THE FLAT THROUGH AGENT(Y),AND AGENT(Y) IS SERVING THE SELLER...THEN AGENT(Y) WILL COLLECT THE COMMISSION FROM BUYER AND SELLER.
