I’m a Singaporean Indian. I’ve been trying to rent a house unit for the past 2 months and contacted about 30 ads on PropertyGuru. Despite a good profile, ALL OF THE AGENTS have replied sorry we don’t rent to Indians. Despite the high asking price, they said NO. One even said the house can’t have curry smell. I’ve taken screenshots of each and every conversation. If race is such a big issue, why can’t the agents state on their advertisement then?
