I’m want to apply for an in principle approval for my private property bank loan, my joint applicant is my family member and I am the other applicant but I will be the only person listed as the owner. Is it possible to use the cpf of the joint applicant in the IPA in the loan repayment?

Hi,

MAS regulation is such that borrower of the loan has to be the owner of the property as well. If you need to use the joint applicants CPF OA to fund the purchase, he or she has to be owner as well. So it has to be on co-ownership for your case.
