I suppose you should be referring to renting a studio apartment.

In general, the price disparity of studio apartments in Singapore is relatively huge, where it depends on the location which you are interested in, as well as the age of the property. In the eastern, northern and western region itself, studio apartments can go as low as $1800 a month for a walk up apartment with no facilities to as high as $2400 a month with full condo facilities like swimming pool, gym and etc. If you are looking for places towards the central area, your housing allowance should be in a good $2500 at least for a shoebox studio apartment which could be slightly older.
