Hi,

1) It is easier to find a 5-rm flat than a 5-rm point block.
2) The current 5-rm point block is asking at more than $600k in Ang Mo Kio. They are quite limited from what I saw.
3) Moreover point block was a product in the late 70s' and early 80s'. Meaning they are at least 40 yrs old. Most of them have less than the remaining lease of 60yrs.
4) You have to take into consideration that a certain percentage of CPF cannot be utilized in the purchase. To ensure full utilization of CPF, you have to be sure that the remaining lease + the youngest buyer >= 95.
