Hi Jen, similar to the laws in the US, if you don't have the licence for that state, you can't do real estate deals.

The same goes for Singapore. As you are a foreigner, most real estate companies here in Singapore are not able to employ foreigners because of local employment laws requiring for application of an employment permit, which most agencies are not keen to look into.

Alternatives would be to give us the referral and get us to process it, and then pay you a referral fee. If that sounds good to you, and if you would like to pass some business my way, I'll be glad to be of assistance. Drop me an email or facebook me :)

Which state are you from?

Cheers,

If you meet the requirements, you need to take the RES course, pass the RES exams and join an agency that will submit your application to CEA for your license to practice.

I have a team who is focus in commercial real estates. We do commercial, industrial, shopping malls & also hotels. It's exciting time. Call me on Mon, I am free to meet up at around 4 or 5pm.
