If I do a buying & selling through the same agent, the commission in total would be in 3%. Can this amount be negotiated to lower?
For example I would my target is $680,000. If the agent can sell above the extra like $690,000 to $700,000 the extra would be kept by the agent. Any agent practice such system of commission?

Hi Mugen,

Indeed commission can be discussed but it will not be ridiculously reduced. In fact you need to be afraid if an agent charges you too low. I ever encountered buyer trying to bribe me by telling me he will pay $45k COV and I can offer any amount of COV to my seller and I get to keep the balance. Not only did I rejected him but I end up selling it to him at $50,100 COV.
