If I get an agent to sell my flat, will he or she at the same time also helping me to find my new property? Meaning sell & buy at the same time doing concurrently?

make your intention known to the agent..eg extended stay for existing house after sale, contra fund arrangements for selling the house.. time needed to renovate new house..prices of the new houses.. financial planning.. timeline needed for the to complete and your expectation
a good agent will update you regularly on the abovementioned challenges..
