I'm subletting one of my bedrooms out. According to HDB website, I'm not required to seek their approval. However, I'll need to inform HDB of the particulars of the tenant, and this can be done online. My question is, do I really need a tenancy agreement? Can I do without a tenancy agreement? If so, what are my risks?
