Is EC a better buy than private condo?

Hi;
Brand new EC is for Singaporeans only.It is a cheaper alternative to a private condo.It has all the condo facilities,just that when you purchase a new EC from developer,you need to satisfy the Minimum Occupation Period before you can sell(5yrs).For first timer (hdb/dbss/never take grant before) are eligible for $30k grant.There will be a new EC launching soon at Compassvale Bow..Please feel free to contact me if you need more info for this EC.Thanks
