May I check for HFE eligibility if in order to maximise the loan availability of the home loan

1) If sibling is living elsewhere but IC states our home address , will we have to count the sibling income ? Is it okay to not count the sibling so as to get a better loan amount?
2) Also, if sibling income is self employed ,do we consider the basic or full when filling HFE and it will affect the possible grant i might obtain ?
3) What if sibling also need to apply HFE, is a single parent and might prioritise housing and also have job changes but same industry in past 6 months , would it interfere with his/her grant if I happen to obtain a grant earlier?
3) I had a change of job in the past 6 months, would it be better to delay a little later since the last 12 months of income would be more in order to try for larger loan amount?
4)If there are pending loans, upon clearing would it be better to get a better credit rating and if so does it effect immediately upon clearing or have to be in the clear of those loans for any stated duration before applying HFE?

The dilemma is considering the sibling condition of applying for his/her HFE with conditions of single parent condition as a priority and my personal HFE. As both might want the most grants possible on either side and most potential possible HDB loan as well. Hope to hear some advise from anyone, thanks in advance!

HFE and housing grant is based on household income. When you have 1 more borrower who is working, the likelihood of getting a higher loan is probably higher, but it means that grant eligibility will be affected. With higher loan amount, the options in the resale market will open up wider instead of working on a lower budget due to loan restrictions.
