My question is, I have just sign agreement selling my house and accept S$1000 deposit less that 5 days from a buyer.But now something comes up and we unable to sell the house.W can return back the deposit to the buyer. Can they sue us for this. Please reply as we are so desperate to know the proceeder.

Morning,

I believe you are marketing your unit on your own. Once seller accepts the Option, they cannot back up. The only thing that you can do now is try to talk to your buyer, hoping that they will take back the cheque and agree to void the transaction.
If they do choose to pursuit the issue, I believe you have no choice but to proceed with the sales.
