Some agents have indicated that they only
promote open listing property sale thru internet medium only.

Is there any such rule applicable ?

If not, are there any agents keen to promote my open listing thru all media ?

Hi,

You may wish to consider doing an exclusive listing for full commitment advertising. May I have more details such as location & size? Thanks and may I assist with your requirements further?

Warm Regards,

Hi Mr MM,

Frankly speaking, if you want 100% advertising commitments, you should consider granting an exclusive given; you're ultimately engaging someone to handle the sales of the unit, so why not just focus on ONE individual to control your price and coordinate your sales. Yes, for that you would definitely need to engage someone throughly professional and experienced, to ensure your objectives and welfare is protected. Do note that the selling process should be expedited on a step by step basis, to ensure no financial liquidity complication and no wrath of regulations. Do get in touch should you be keen on availing my service and consultation.

Hi MM, the logic behind is very simple. If I'm not the exclusive agent and if I spend hundreds of dollars or even thousand at other media like newspaper but to see your unit being sold by another agent. How would you feel if you will to be in my shoe?

Hi MM!

It's quite common among agents marketing an open listing unit to promote it only through free marketing platforms. The reasoning is that they would like to cut down costs as there is no certainty that even after spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on marketing, that they would be the one selling/renting the unit.

I've marketed many open listing units and currently am doing so as well. I have marketed many of it on various paid marketing platforms and not just online. However, it depends from unit to unit as well.

Do let me know if I may assist you. Thanks!

Dear seller,

I do not see any issues with putting in marketing costs for all my assignments, however, I will not do so if I am being paid peanuts for it. I believe many salespersons have the same concept as me and we believe that we deserve full commissions for completing such an assignment. Maybe we can have a discussion to understand each other better.

Evening,

If someone employs you and indicate that you can only get paid if you managed to get the job done, which is normal. However, you will need to compete with multiple competitors and only the one who gets the job done will be paid. By throwing all your funds into such job does not promise you any return. What would you do? Opt to work 24/7 and throw in all you have and hope for the best? I believe you would not put in full effort if the earnings are not guaranteed.
