It is definitely possible to do so, and with an updated renovation, it can potentially do even better than market rate subjective to existing supply and demand factors.

Why I am saying this is because of a recent case which I have encountered, where the owner is looking to sell his very well renovated unit. Upon receiving the details of his unit, I dived into consolidating data and statistics that are applicable for reference, and found that over a 5 years period, there was an average of only 2.5 transactions per month for similar type of units, and at present, there are more than 50 different units listed on the market, therefore even if priced at the market rate, the probability of securing a right offer is still low, therefore effective positioning of units for sale will be a critical process, to formulate an efficient and effective marketing campaign.

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 10years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.
