We paid 1% and signed option to purchase for a property. Before we decided with the purchase, we went to view the place which appears to us as new and empty. We were told by the agent that the place is new and owner had just got the keys for a month. This was the main consideration for our decision to purchase. However, when we went for a second viewing after signing the option, we were shock to find a lady staying in the master bedroom. We are very unhappy about it. Please advise if we can opt out of the purchase? If not, can we pursue after the agent for giving us incorrect information and demand for compensation if we opt out?
