Clients are not always right, they basically dun know what the actual market condition. Just sell the highest as possible.
Do not follow the client preferred pricing just to secure listing. Shall give the clients the median price of the present market and the markup of pricing for the potential buyer to neg. Putting this client property as white elephant just to close similar unit, the realtor marketing too.

This is a very subjective and greatly depends on the scenario when you are asking this question.
There are clients who are on very good terms with a property agent, where the property agent can share the market information constantly with the client, but when it comes to selling the property, he seems to be going nowhere and other agents come in and get it sold within a week.
