The sale of HDB flats is a tedious and long process that can often take up to 3 months or more.

A real estate agent will be able to see you through the entire process in the course of the sale. Hi Mrs Goh,

The service agreement forms prescribed by the CEA, our regulatory body will probably address what are the duties of a salesperson to a seller. More importantly, a salesperson or a team of salesperson should be able to value add to the whole sales process in safeguarding the seller's interest instead of pushing the seller to close the deal which I have heard that many salesperson are doing, citing the poor market sentiments. I would love to hear from you what are your plans for this sale to happen. This will better prepare my resale HDB team to take note of your concerns and address any of them while achieving a price which will meet your expectations. Let me know if we can assist.
