Dear Rental Newbie,
I am not sure which perspective are you making this enquiry from and which group of people have you gotten the information that rents are now low. I have been serving a fair bit of tenants lately and most of them are actually complaining that prices of rent are ridiculously high, where rooms a year ago can be rented at $550 for fully furnished with aircon but most units now are looking at least $700. We are able to get rental at $1600 for a 3room HDB 1 year ago but are now looking at $2000 range in current market.
