A single PR won't be able to purchase a HDB under your own name. Thus, the only option you can look at will be private property.

While there are no particular requirement, what is more important is your own requirement in looking for a property.

There will definitely be stamp duty incurred for your purchase as well as some other fee such as legal fee.
