Good afternoon,

you are eligible to purchase a private condo, apartment or landed housing in Sentosa other than public housing.

But do take note that foreigner will be subject to 12% additional buyer's stamp duty on top of the 3 to 4% stamp duty.

Hi,

As a foreigner, you can still buy private condominiums in singapore, however Additional Buyer Stamp Duty of 20% and Buyer Stamp Duty of 3% to 4% will apply.

However, if you are Nationals or Permanent Residents of the following countries, you will be accorded the same Stamp Duty treatment as Singapore Citizens:
Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland and Nationals of the United States of America.

Hi,

1) The HDB flat is a subsidized accommodation mainly for Singapore citizens (SC) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR). Therefore it is not open to foreigners.
2) As a foreigner you still have the choice of non-landed residential private condo/apartment.
3) However a foreigner is subject to a 20% Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) for any residential property, other than the normal buyer stamp duty that applied across to anyone who purchases property in Singapore.
