In Singapore, it is generally a legal requirement for individuals, including work permit holders, to register their residence with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). This registration is known as the Residential Address Registration (RAR). All foreign workers, including those on work permits, are required to register their residential address within a stipulated period after arriving in Singapore.
