Knight Frank reorganizes its operations

5 Jan 2010

Knight Frank Singapore is reorganizing its operations along five divisions – property management, residential, commercial, retail and advisory. Each division is headed by a managing director, who will provide strategic leadership to the unit, as well as identify and train the next generation of leaders.

The move was made after the company reviewed its operations in preparation for the next market growth phase, which aims to promote cross-selling and form better synergy. “We want clients to look at Knight Frank as an organisation staffed with pro-active and professional personnel who are best in class,” said Danny Yeo, group managing director.

With the reorganization move, Knight Frank will now have three new managing directors – Foo Suan Peng, Lydia Sng and Peter Ow. Mr. Foo was promoted to managing director for commercial services from executive director for investment sales; Ms. Sng was promoted to managing director for advisory services from executive director for valuation; and Mr. Ow was promoted to managing director for residential services after working as an executive director at the company. Meanwhile, Jordan Neo will remain at his post as the managing director for property management services.

Knight Frank is also introducing moves to renew its talent pool. “We will actively recruit talent from the industry, locally and abroad, and provide opportunities for existing staff to stretch and demonstrate their capabilities,” it said.

The property firm also reviewed its salary structure and incentive schemes to encourage and motivate its staff to excel.
