Ten Mile Junction station resumes operations

30 Dec 2011

After a one-year closure, the Ten Mile Junction LRT station opens today.

SMRT, the rail operator, closed the station when the Ten Mile Junction shopping centre commenced its S$28 million renovations, as the station would be a construction site and therefore, unsafe for commuters.

The station keeps its old name, as it opens along with the newly-refurbished mall, now called Junction 10.

The Bukit Panjang LRT service C, operating via the Bukit Panjang and Senja stations from Ten Mile Junction, will also resume operations.

On weekdays, commuters can use the service from 10 AM to 4 PM and 9 PM to 11:10 PM. On weekends and public holidays, the service runs from 10 AM to 11:10 PM. Trains arrive every 20 minutes..

To inform the commuters of the station’s re-opening, SMRT has placed notices and posters at train stations.
