HomeGuru officially launches in Malaysia

9 Mar 2011

The launch of AllProperty Media’s HomeGuru website (www.HomeGuru.com.my) in Malaysia has received positive response, gaining more than 55,000 property listings with a registered base of up to 5,000 real estate agents and page views hitting more than one million since 26 January 2011.

The company’s “True Guru” online viral campaign, featuring Malaysian celebrities Jack Lim and Gan Mei Yan, was launched on 14 February, amassing more than 44,000 page views in under three weeks.

These fast-increasing numbers show a greater interest in what HomeGuru promises – targeted marketing services and tools for property advertisers and agents that will help generate more business and income at a greater pace, as well as help home buyers make faster and better purchase decisions.

“We are excited about our venture into the Malaysian real estate market and it has shown great promise so far, said Steve Melhuish, CEO of AllProperty Media, the parent company of HomeGuru.

“HomeGuru has managed to overtake several other well-known portals to currently occupy the No. 2 position in the country’s list of top property portals, and we intend to establish it as Malaysia’s leading real estate site soon.”

Since its soft launch, HomeGuru has been keeping consumers updated on the newest trends in the Malaysian real estate market, with daily market news updates, market research reports and expert buying and renting guides.

“HomeGuru is committed to supporting Malaysia’s real estate industry and agents, as well as to assist in making property-hunting a pleasant affair for buyers and investors in and outside of Malaysia,” said Mr. Melhuish.

Additionally, Redberry has signed a partnership with AllProperty Media while Fullhouse.com.my, which was owned by FullHouse Media, has been acquired by AllProperty Media.
