A land parcel at Bishan Street 14 has been awarded to Bishan Residential Development Ltd after offering the highest bid of S$550.1 million in a public tender that closed on 24 February.
The site was made available for sale on 21 January 2011, under the confirmed list of the 1H2011 GLS programme, after a developer committed to bid a minimum price of S$189.83 million.
The site has a total area of 11,997.1 sq m and a maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 58,785.79 sq m with a gross plot ratio of 4.9. It is proposed for condominium housing development, which could possibly yield up to 650 housing units.
Located near the Bishan MRT station, the land parcel is within close proximity of major arterial roads and expressways, such as the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and Central Expressway (CTE).
