Buyers snap up 165 units at Parc Rosewood

30 Jan 2012

Singapore property buyers snapped up more than 165 of the 236 units offered for sale at last weekend’s launch of the Parc Rosewood condominium development.

Prices at the development were adjusted downwards by between 8 and 10 percent, from an initial price of between S$1,030 psf and S$1,100 psf to between S$925 psf and S$998 psf. According to the developer, the adjustment was made to offset any impact on sales from the recently-implemented additional buyer’s stamp duty. Prices for the initial 236 units ranged from S$398,000 for a one-bedroom unit to S$568,000 for a two-bedder and S$778,000 for a three-bedroom unit.

Andrew Batt, Regional Group Editor of PropertyGuru, said, “The brisk sales last weekend provide yet further evidence that there is still demand for attractively priced developments in good locations. This is a traditionally quiet time for property purchases yet there have been a number of new launches within the last week that have attracted significant interest.”

Located on Rosewood Drive, the Kensington Land (a joint venture between Fragrance Group and World Class Land) project is within close proximity to key transport arteries such as the Seletar Expressway (SLE) and Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE). It is also located within walking distance to Woodlands MRT station, the interchange station for both the North-South Line and the upcoming Thomson Line, serving the Rapid Transit System Link between Singapore and Johor Bahru in 2018.

Parc Rosewood is also in the vicinity of amenities such as Causeway Point, Woodlands Civic Plaza, Woodlands Stadium and prestigious schools such as the Singapore American School, Singapore Sports School and Innova Junior College. The development will also be highly accessible to regional business hubs including Harvest@Woodlands, Woodlands Bizhub and Woodlands Auto Hub.

Comprising 689 residential units, most of which are of the one- and two-bedroom varieties, with select three-bedroom units and penthouses, the picturesque Parc Rosewood is inspired by the notion ‘My Home, My Resort’. Its five themed zones – Rosewood Spring, Rosewood Marina, Rosewood Bay, Rosewood Reflection and Rosewood Boulevard/Trail/Garden – promise tranquil sanctuaries for rest, relaxation and reflection at any time during the day or night.

"In line with our strong passion towards developing homes of exceptional quality, style, comfort and value, Parc Rosewood is set to provide resort-style living with opulent amenities and well-connected locality – at a very attractive price. Providing a tranquil ambience for home seekers, we believe Parc Rosewood will be that alluring, peaceful haven for our buyers," said Mr Koh Wee Seng, Director of Kensington Land Pte Ltd.
