Tiong Aik Construction, a wholly-owned unit of TA Corporation, has been awarded a construction contract to design and build a new condominium development at Dairy Farm Road, reported The Business Times.
The S$116.7 million contract was awarded by Bukit Timah Green Development, a joint venture between First Shine Properties, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hock Lian Seng Holdings and Meadows Bright Development, an associate company of TA Corp.
To be completed in 2015, the development will comprise six blocks of 15-storey condos with over 400 units, swimming pools, a basement car park, clubhouse and communal facilities.
Construction is expected to commence in the first half of next year. The contract is unlikely to impact the group’s earnings per share and net tangible assets for FY2012, but will be progressively recognised over the next 36 months.
“This joint-venture development will be our largest private residential development in Singapore to-date and we are excited to have the opportunity, together with our JV partners, to bring yet another quality condominium to the market,” stated Neo Tiam Boon, CEO of TA Corp.
