Showcasing the latest residential projects from Malaysia, PropertyGuru, Asia’s leading property portal will once again organise the Malaysia Property Show (MPS), taking place this weekend (8 to 9 December) at Orchard Hotel, Singapore.

The exhibition will feature freehold luxury developments from across Malaysia, like Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Ipoh and from nine major Malaysian developers such as Andaman, UEM Land, Sime Darby Property, Plentitude, The Haven, MRCB, Pulai Spring, Denia Developments and Tanah Sutera.

MPS will also present a series of informative seminars covering a wide range of topics such as mortgage planning and investment tips for prospective buyers. Speakers include Khairudin bin Ya’cob, Senior Manager of Ho Chin Soon Research on “Malaysia Property Market Outlook for 2013”, Adrian Un, Director of Mortgage Broker about “Grow rich by choosing the right property and mortgage leveraging – secrets revealed”, and KC See, The Founder of MasteryAsia discussing “Money is made when you buy, not when you  sell”.

In addition, Ahyat Ishak, Founder of The Strategic Property Investor (TSPI) Programme, will share insights about “The 4 millionaire strategies of a strategic property investor”, while Elizabeth Siew, Advocate & Solicitor; Managing Partner of Messrs Iqbal Hakim, Sia & Voo will discuss “Property investment in Malaysia; legal aspect”.

“Our previous two Malaysia Property Shows were very well-received with over 1,400 visitors contributing total sales worth RM$44.5 million combined,” said Steve Melhuish, co-founder and Group CEO of PropertyGuru.

“With property prices skyrocketing in Singapore, demand for Malaysian properties continues to grow in appeal for residential use due to close proximity to Singapore. The comparatively low cost of purchase and maintenance is a driving force for Singaporeans and Singapore-based foreigners to look towards neighbouring Malaysia as a tenable outlet for property investment, a source of demand we are looking to tap into.”

There will also be a lucky draw where visitors can stand a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy SIII if they pre-register for the event. For more information, visit http://www.propertyguru.com.my/mps2012.
