In its first year of taking a regional approach to the Asia Pacific Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards, CBRE has won awards in every major market throughout the region.
In Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the Philippines, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, CBRE has achieved a top-three ranking in 19 categories and will be awarded either top honours or a highly commended ranking in each category at the awards ceremony on April 27 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Asia Pacific Property Awards are part of the long-established International Property Awards, and its winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry. Founded 18 years ago, these accolades distinguish excellence in the property industry worldwide and promote an international standard. Previous main sponsors of the awards include CNBC and Bloomberg Television.
Later this year, the highest scoring winners from the Asia Pacific Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Europe, Africa, the Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate ‘World’s Best’ in each category. The Asia Pacific region has an enviable record of achievement at an international level, having won an unbeaten total of 13 World’s Best Awards in 2011.
CBRE Thailand has previously won 10 five-star awards, the organisation’s top ranking at the country level and has gone on to win five regional awards since 2009. CBRE Thailand, as the Asia Pacific regional winner, also previously won the Best International Commercial Real Estate Agency Website award in competition with websites from Europe and America.
David Simister (pictured, right), Chairman of CBRE Thailand and Vietnam, represented the company when receiving 11 prestigious awards at the Asia Pacific Property Awards gala dinner last year in Shanghai.
CBRE Thailand is the most recognised country winner in the Asia Pacific region and has been shortlisted for six awards this year, including Best Real Estate Agency, Best Real Estate Agency Marketing, Best Real Estate Agency Website, Best Property Consultancy, Best Property Consultancy Marketing and Best Property Consultancy Website. The results will be announced at the upcoming awards ceremony next month.
Simister said: “We are proud of our continued success for CBRE Thailand. This is also the first year CBRE took a regional approach to these awards where every major market in the region has participated. We recognise that we’ll have to wait until the ceremony on April 27 to learn whether we have won top honors, but just being selected among the top three winners in 19 categories is an outstanding achievement. Our professionals work hard every day to deliver the best real estate services to our clients, and these accolades are a testament to their efforts.”
Stuart Shield, President of the International Property Awards, said: “We received a record number of entries for the Asia Pacific region this year and the standard was extremely high. Any company to win one of these awards has shown exceptional levels of professionalism and competence in their respective field.”
