Bartley Residences sees strong demand

Property developer Hong Leong Holdings Limited will release new homes at Bartley Residences (pictured), after all 240 units launched during Phase One were snapped up over a period of three weeks.

Betsy Chng, Head of Sales & Marketing at Hong Leong, said that the majority of buyers were attracted by the prime location of the project, which is next to Bartley MRT station, reputable schools and major townships like Bishan and Serangoon.

“We designed Bartley with the family in mind,” said Chng. “For example, over 80 percent of the project’s 702 units comprise of two-bedrooms and more, which are ideal for young families.”

Dual key apartments, sized at 1,603 sq ft, provide extended or multi-generational families with the opportunity to live together in a home within a home.

An additional benefit is that privacy can still be maintained. The main door leads to a common hall which has two additional doors that lead to a studio apartment and a larger unit. In case the studio apartment is not in use, owners can choose to rent it out.

“Dual key units are not new in Singapore,” noted Chng. “However they could become commonplace in tandem with changing family dynamics and the evolving needs of modern families.”

“We believe they could become increasingly popular with an aging population and young families who wish to continue staying close to their parents,” she added.

Bartley Residences is a JV (joint venture) development between City Developments Limited (CDL), TID Private Limited and Hong Leong.
