L&W Construction, a fully-owned subsidiary of Singapore’s Lee Kim Tah Woh Hup, has purchased a 10.1ha prime land site in Devanahalli, Bangalore for INR1 billion (S$22.09 million), in a sale advised by Jones Lang LaSalle’s India office.

“This is an extremely strategic acquisition for L&W Construction Private Limited, and one of Bangalore’s largest land deals of 2013 to date. The location of this land, on NH7 at Devanahalli is among Bangalore’s most promising growth corridors by virtue of its proximity to the Bangalore International Airport,” said Mayank Saksena, Managing Director, Land Services at Jones Lang LaSalle India.

The site is expected to be developed into a high-end residential project.
