Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), the world’s biggest privately-held service firm for commercial properties, has agreed to acquire Singapore-based project management specialist Project Solution Group (PSG).
The acquisition is in line with C&W’s plan to strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific region. Upon the deal’s completion, the company’s position as a market leader in Project Management services will be further cemented. It also follows C&W’s announcement earlier this year that it has established offices in Taipei, Taiwan and Manila in the Philippines.
Incorporated in Singapore in 2004, PSG Asia provides project management, professional interior design and construction services to more than 40 multinational corporations (MNCs) across the Asia Pacific region.
Co-founded by Australian Mike Harrison, PSG has 14 offices in 12 countries and employs over 70 personnel throughout Asia and the Middle East. Harrison will serve as C&W’s Executive Managing Director for project management services in Asia.
“This acquisition represents a key milestone in the continuing strengthening of our Asia Pacific operations,” said C&W Executive Chairman Carlo Sant’Albano.
“Over the past 18 months we have added six new offices and over 900 new staff to our Asia operations and this latest acquisition of PSG propels us into a leadership position for the provision of project management services right across the region,” he added.
