US-based real estate brokerage Hammerberg & Associates, the parent company of GayRealEstate.com, has acquired its California-based competitor GayRealEstateAgents.com for an undisclosed price.

This acquisition expands Hammerberg & Associates’ portfolio of gay real estate/ gay real estate agent domains.

The www.GayRealEstateAgents.com website provides members of the LGBT community free access to the largest database of gay, lesbian and gay-friendly realtors in the US. It also offers mortgage pre-qualification and property news at www.GayRealEstateAgents.com/blog.

The website also provides free buyer representation, relocation kit and competitive market analysis to home sellers.

Realtors serving customers through GayRealEstateAgents.com are pre-screened, verified and pre-qualified to guarantee the best service to home buyers, sellers and relocating members of the LGBT community.

These qualified agents come from top companies like Keller Williams, Prudential, Coldwell Banker, Century 21, Sotheby’s and ReMax.

“With the country split almost evenly with those for and against full equality for gay and lesbian individuals, when it comes to buying or selling a home, possibly an individual’s largest financial investment, it’s a wise choice for members of the LGBT community to ensure they are being represented by an individual that stands on the side of full support for our community,” said Founder and CEO Jeff Hammerberg.
