An Australian real estate agency has introduced a marketing campaign which is targeting children as the next generation of property buyers.
Mr Hooker Bear (pictured) is the brainchild of LJ Hooker, one of the country’s leading real estate agencies, and has recently launched an educational website and app which, the company says, aims to encourage brand recognition and encourage children as young as four-years-old to become future clients.
Speaking to local media, Georg Chmiel, LJ Hooker CEO, said: “LJ Hooker is successfully building a positive relationship with the next generation of Australian real estate tenants, buyers and sellers.”
In the first two weeks the app, called Mr Hooker Bear’s Letter Pop, has been downloaded more than 2,500 times.
“Children attending open houses for inspections and marketing appraisals are often bored and cranky. Now they can have fun with an element of practical learning,” Chmiel added.
Mr Hooker Bear was born in Queensland in 1988 and is a regular visitor to community events around the country.
