Property developer Keppel Land has sold a total of 1,500 units in China from January to May this year, according to Nomura.
850 units were sold in Q1, with 650 of those sold in April and May alone. Sales performance is reported to be strong, compared to the 1,650 units sold for the whole of last year.
The Springdale project located in Nanhui District, Shanghai, saw the bulk of units being sold with almost half, or 2,667 units being sold at higher prices of CNY13,000 (S$2,702) psm compared to the average of CNY11,800 (S$2,702) psm in the first quarter.
